Where are sessions held?

Healing with Horses and Day Retreats are held in the pasture with horses at Old Canyon Stables, a serene working farm nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains of Topanga Canyon. Approxiamtely 30 minutes from the west side of LA, Topanga is an eclectic village community where artists, creatives, and healers live in harmony with the natural world.

Old Canyon Stables is situated on sacred land, surrounded by the powerful mountain energy. The wild landscape offers a soft landing and return home into your wildness.

Healing with horses (Breathwork)

Sessions are a sacred experience combining the transformative potential of breathwork with the powerful human-horse connection. Breathwork is a rhythmic breathing meditation to support the release of unprocessed emotions, stagnant energy, and past experiences. It opens your heart, builds trust in your body, and imprints safety in your nervous system. Attuning to the heart field of the horses and surrounding vibration of nature will bring you into presence with your body. The session will open with conversation and observation of the herd. We will then transition to the breathwork journey, where you will be lying down on a massage table in the pasture. The herd and I will fully support you in clearing and alchemizing heavy energy. Experience a profound shift on every level and leave with clarity and levity.

Sessions are held in the pasture. We will be interacting with and observing horses up close and at a distance (this is a non-riding experience).

Healing with HOrses (Observation)

Similar to Equine Therapy including conversation, somatic work, and embodiment tools. An observation session is a grounded way to engage with your intuition through the senses and bring awareness to your life. Sitting in stillness and presence with nature allows you to observe emerging patterns and connect to your current experience.

The horses call you into greater connection to your body to safely process emotions, gather insights, and uncover information previously hidden. Being witnessed in your experience by myself and the herd supports emotional congruence. Leave with practical guidance to integrate what emerged in the session into your life.

Private Day Retreat in Topanga

Spend the day in Topanga Canyon with myself and the herd. A day retreat is an immersive experience to receive the healing power of the horses while surrounded by the stunning natural landscape of the canyon.

Day retreats are for individuals, couples, families, corporate teams, or small private groups. Please email me if you’d like to schedule a day of programming for your group.

Intuitive Guidance + Energy Reading

Receive intuitive and practical guidance from Catie and the herd. These sessions are intended to offer energetic support from a distance. If you are lacking clarity, feeling confused or simply want an energetic reading from the horses (and can’t be there in person)— this is a great option.

You may share a specific question/agenda or choose to remain open to the mystery. Once booked, I will sit in observation with Jax, the herd, and nature. Holding your intention in my awareness, I will attune to your energy, witness and record what unfolds. The channeled session will be voice recorded and emailed to you with any additional notes.

This is not an energy clearing, however the horses are masterful alchemizers. Since we are working in your energetic field, you may notice a shift in your own awareness or an unblocking of energy.
